Want to be in Pictures?

Film and television production is a multi-million-dollar industry throughout Oregon, not to mention it brings A-list celebrities to our cities and towns. In the last three years alone, top names such as Harrison Ford, Morgan Freeman, Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Aniston, Diane Lane and many others have traveled to the Greater Portland area to film major motion pictures.
Do you ever wonder how certain locations are selected for such productions? Oregon Film (also known as the Governor’s Office of Film & Television) works closely with film and television location scouts to help bring these productions to the state.
One of the tools provided for these scouts is Oregon Film’s searchable list of potential locations, which lists pictures and descriptions of film-friendly properties and locations throughout the state. Best of all, it is FREE to include your business or property as a potential filming location.
It’s simple to include your business or property into Oregon Film’s location database. Just upload photographs of the property (exterior and interior) and include a brief description of the property with contact and access information.
