Second Annual Sports Networking Mixer on June 3rd
May 20th, 2010 by WCVA
Did you know that amateur sports events in Washington County bring in millions of dollars in economic impact each year?
According to the 2009 SGMA NASC Amateur Sports Event Study, households traveled an average of 343 miles one-way to participate in an amateur sports event, stayed an average of 3 days in the destination, and spent an average of $699 per household during their stay.
Join in a networking event to talk more about sports in our County. The Washington County Visitors Association invites you to the Second Annual Sports Networking Mixer, at the Pacific University Athletic Center in Forest Grove on Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 4 to 6 p.m. The WCVA Sports Committee chose “Making Connections. Building Partnerships. Scoring Big!” as this year’s theme.
Hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Two drink tickets will be given to each attendee at the registration table upon check-in. Door and raffle prizes will be awarded, including two individual rounds of golf at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club, Tree to Tree Adventure Park day passes, WCVA T-shirts, and Nike Golf gear!
Space is limited–please RSVP here by Friday, May 28th at 5 p.m.
