Stakeholder Programs

Tourism generated $450 million in direct travel spending in Washington County in 2008. Want in?
Getting involved with the Washington County Visitors Association (WCVA) is simple – complete the quick online form to become a WCVA stakeholder. What’s a stakeholder? The title reflects the fact that the WCVA is not a membership-based organization. Instead, it is funded solely by transient occupancy tax (a.k.a. “lodging” or “bed” tax). That means that all lodging properties within the County, and all restaurants, attractions and other tourism-related businesses in (or immediately adjacent to) Washington County can get involved – thus expressing your business’ stake in growing Washington County’s tourism industry.
Being a stakeholder entitles you to complimentary listings in our Visitor, Meeting and Sports Guides (where applicable) and on our main website. Your business will also receive updates on pay-to-play opportunities including advertising, in-kind donation requests, and myriad other promotional and networking programs. Become a WCVA Stakeholder today to get your business exposed to leisure and corporate travelers, group travel planners, meeting, event and sport planners, and other travel influencers. The WCVA and you: Making Washington County, Oregon, the place to be.
