From Pinot to Port: Northern Willamette Valley Wine Country

Oregon’s Willamette Valley has become world-renowned for its premium Pinot Noir, and the northern tip of this burgeoning wine growing region lies in Washington County. Twenty wineries are situated here, 14 of which have regular tasting hours. What sets these wineries apart: they remain family-owned, several employ “Old World” wine-making philosophies, and some now produce certified organic and biodynamic wines.
