The Board of Directors

The WCVA is governed by a Board of Directors, which serves as an advisory board. The board consists of members of segments of the community representing Washington County industries affected by tourism, either directly or indirectly. The positions and current members include:

• Three representatives from Chambers of Commerce
  Teri Koerner, Forest Grove Chamber
  Jonae Armstrong, Washington Square
  Dylan Campy, Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club
• Three from the lodging industry
  Tracy Reynolds, Beaverton Courtyard by Marriott
  Josh Sanders, The Grand Hotel at Bridgeport
  Gary Upton, General Manager & Regional Vice President, Embassy Suites Portland-Washington Square
• Citizens at large
  Melissa Riley, Beaverton Civic Theatre
  Darren Harmon, General Manager, Family Fun Center & Bullwinkle’s Restaurant, Wilsonville
• One member of the County Board of Commissioners
  Commissioner Andy Duyck
• One city councilor or mayor
  Denny Doyle, Mayor of Beaverton
• Three non-lodging tourism stakeholders from wine, nature, sports or arts
  Jim McElhinny, THPRD
  Norman Penner, Friends of the Refuge
  Stuart Wilson, Garden Vineyards
• One from a for-profit corporation or private business
