About WCVA

County-farm

The Washington County Visitors Association (WCVA) is a non-profit destination marketing organization (DMO), which markets Washington County, Oregon, as a tourism destination. Travelers typically include business, leisure, meeting, sport and event planners, and tours, among others. We are the region’s primary DMO, and market the citites within Washington County; identifiy key tourism attractors to the area–such as nature, wine destinations and sports events; and provide assistance to meeting planners, sports organizers, group tour planners and others who plan events, trips and tournaments.

Our outreach includes advertising, sales, public relations, online marketing, tourism research and other marketing activities. Recent activities include: launching a new brand for consumer audiences; introducing new consumer and industry websites; creating a new visitors guide; and producing a new area road map highlighting area attractions and lodging properties.

As a service to travelers, the WCVA also operates a Visitor Information Center, which provides information about transportation, lodging, attractions, activities, wineries, parks and recreational facilities in Washington County and surrounding areas. Information and materials are free to the public. The Visitor Information Center is open Monday through Friday (holidays excluded), 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tourism has the potential to further diversify the Washington County economy. The goal is to establish a high-quality visitor experience that benefits residents, partners, the environment and visitors. We are dedicated to preserving and presenting experiences that excite, educate and reward our guests in natural, stimulating and comfortable environments. We are attuned to the needs of nature explorers, sporting organizers and enthusiasts, and wine aficionados to provide them with exceptional and memorable experiences.

We view this as a team effort, and as your biggest cheerleaders, we value your partnership.
